THE ULTIMATE CINEMA EXPERIENCE
“The team behind Cinema Paradiso dreamed of creating The Ultimate Cinema Experience and the Balearics’ beautiful backdrops immediately came to mind as the perfect décor for alfresco screenings.
Ibiza is where it all started. The first ever outdoor screening was held within Baluarte de Sant Pere, an intimate corner of D’alt Vila, and a UNESCO world heritage site.
Friends came together to sit back on custom made bean beds, to soak in the stunning atmosphere and scenery, before watching a film under the moonlight, with the silhouette of D’alt Vila in the background. This is what cinema is all about.
Soon after Cinema Paradiso was looking at other locations across the island to offer the The Ultimate Cinema Experience. Amante Beach Club was the next venue where they started working, followed by luxury villas they turned into private cinemas for the night.
With Formentera just a 50-minute ferry ride away, it made sense to offer private cinema in this slice of paradise as well. Since 2020 private cinema can also be booked in Mallorca, a real accolade and testament to the success of intimate outdoor screenings.”
